Gutter cleaning or a gutter repair?

A dripping gutter does not always tell you exactly what is wrong. Cleaning and repairs address different concerns, and an assessment can help clarify what your property needs.

When cleaning may be part of the answer

Cleaning concerns the leaves, moss and other material that has collected in the gutter system. If you have noticed visible debris or overflow, describe it when you make an enquiry. The extent of the work depends on the property and access.

When to mention a possible repair

A joint that repeatedly leaks, a section that appears misaligned or a part that looks damaged should be mentioned separately. Removing debris does not necessarily fix a damaged component. Anthony can discuss the issue and confirm whether the repair is within the work he can offer.

Describe the symptom, not a diagnosis

You do not need to know the technical name of a fitting. Explain which side of the house is affected, where water appears and when it happens. A ground-level photograph can be useful if it can be taken safely.

Agree the scope before booking

Ask what the quote includes and whether anything needs further assessment. If the issue requires work outside the agreed scope, discuss the next step before proceeding. Send Anthony your postcode and the details to start the conversation.
